The Hive Policies 
The Hive is a leading San Francisco Massage Spa. Please take a moment to look through our policies to ensure you and our staff have the best possible experience at The Hive. 

Right to Refuse Service
Our massage therapists reserve the right to terminate treatment if they feel a client’s behavior is undesirable or dangerous. 

Children
We believe creating a safe, relaxing, and soothing environment is essential. Therefore, we ask parents and guardians to please refrain from bringing children to The Hive. 

Children must be 14 years or older to receive spa services at The Hive. Additionally, children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or caretaker at all times. 


Gift Cards
Gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash and may not be used for gratuities.

Accessibility
A handicap-accessible ramp and lower-level service rooms are available. The Hive staff members and massage therapists are not permitted to lift clients. If your service requires lifting, please arrive at your appointment with a personal care attendant.

Payment/Deposits
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Cancellation Policy 
You may cancel or change an appointment up to 4 hours before your scheduled time. If you cancel an appointment in less than 4 hours, The Hive charges 50% of the full treatment fee. If you don’t come to your appointment, the full treatment fee will be charged.

Please note that it’s encouraged to communicate with your massage therapist during your treatment. Whether you’re receiving a traditional Thai Massage or one of our other therapies, inform your masseuse if you’re uncomfortable. We’ll always accommodate you to the best of our abilities.
